Educational Leadership and Blog Usage

The use of blogs by school administrators is an effective and efficient means of sharing information between many different individuals.  As information, ideas or questions are placed on their blog, other participants or stakeholders may provide insight and different perspectives or perceptions relating to the concern or issue.  The blog can help to build a collaborative working environment that allows for participation in campus or district issues without the restraint of time or place.

  1. Hi James. A school leader can definitely use a blog to efficiently communicate with other school administrators. The videos posted online shed light on how districts are now using this sort of technology. Technology is evolving and as leaders we need to adapt to all the changes headed our way. For me, the next step will be to monitor my blog and wikispace on my mobile device. I hope to be able to accomplish this by Christmas time.
